Benjamin Wallner serves as Director of Government Affairs at One Health, where he leads legislative and regulatory strategy to expand access to high-quality, patient-centered care for medically complex and underserved populations. With over two decades of experience in healthcare policy, government relations, and advocacy, he brings a deep understanding of both Capitol Hill and the healthcare landscape to his work.

Before joining One Health, Ben held leadership roles at the American Podiatric Medical Association, where he directed congressional lobbying efforts, managed large-scale advocacy campaigns, and led the organization’s political action committee. He has a proven track record of securing legislative wins, building coalitions, and shaping national healthcare policy.

Ben earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, Morris. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Public Health Association and the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics.

Motivated by a desire to leave the world better than he found it, Ben approaches policy work with both strategic precision and a human-centered lens. A lifelong fan of sweets, he insists no dental procedure—implants included—will ever convince him to give them up.
